EDTA-2Na:

Disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, also called EDTA-2Na, is a good compounding agent in chemistry. The chemical formula is C₁₀H₁₄N₂Na₂O₈ and the molecular weight is 336.206.

Features：

1. EDTA has a wide range of coordination properties and can form a stable chelate with almost all metal ions. Advantages: It provides the possibility of extensive determination of elements (better than acid-base and precipitation methods). Disadvantages: easy interference between multiple components-selectivity.

2. The coordination ratio between EDTA and the formed M-EDTA is mostly 1:1.

3. Most chelates are charged, so they are soluble in water and react quickly. Toxicity protection: This product has low toxicity. The oral LD50 for rats is 2000mg/kg. Packing: Packed in a carton or sack lined with double-layer plastic bags, 80kg per bag.

Physical and chemical properties:

white crystalline powder. Low toxicity, soluble in water, pH value of 5% aqueous solution is 4-6. It is acidic. Hardly soluble in alcohol. Mainly used as a complexing agent.
